Back To School Make Up

Hi guys! Today I thought I would share my back to school make up routine with you. If like me you struggle to find the balance between looking good and getting ready quickly, I'm sure this will be of use to you. I'm going into year 11, but these looks could easily be adapted for a work environment. I realise they aren't the most basic school make up routines, but as an individual who is passionate about make up I thought I'd share my school hair and make up routine with you.

To prime my face I use Maybelline Baby Skin, which I dot over my cheeks, forehead, chin and nose. I suffer from dark under eye circles and if I haven't got much sleep it shows, so to wake up tired eyes I use the Benefit Puff Off Instant Eye Gel. Next I'll use Benefit’s Hello Flawless foundation all over my face, and the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer around my eyes. The final part of my base is the Rimmel Sun Shimmer Instant Tan which I apply to my neck, this is perfecting for enhancing a natural tan. I find that when I warm up my face with bronzer my neck is more often then not a shade or so lighter, so doing this gets rid of any harsh lines.

Now onto brows and eyes. First up is brows, whether or not your short on time brows are the one thing that cannot be left out. The Sleek Brow kit is what I use, the wax and powder create a strong look that lasts all day. I'll then curl my eyelashes with my No7 Eyelash curler, before using my Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner to create a winged look. This eyeliner is really durable and lasts all through school, even if you need to top up the tip is a perfect size and makes this straightforward to do. Finally for my eyes I'll add a few coats of the Benefit They're Real Mascara to elongate and define my lashes.

Now onto the final stage of my make up, contouring and any other finishing touches. I'll sweep the Benefit Hoola Bronzer all over my face for a natural starting point. After that I'll use the NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette to contour my cheek bone, jawline, nose and forehead, and I then highlight using the shades included in this palette. For a healthy glow, I'll use the L’Oreal Paris Le Blush in Sandalwood pink, it's especially appropriate for school mornings as my face often lacks colour due to looking so tired. I apply a dash on MAC’s Velvet Teddy to my lips, and a spitz on Zoella Beauty Sweet Insprations Body Mist, and I'm ready to go!
