Good evening guys, I hope you've had a good week! I cannot believe December is upon us, this year has flown past in what feels like seconds. Winters definitely back, along with cold weather which just makes me want to stay snuggled in bed all day. Today I thought I'd share my November favourites, which are a mixture of place and room decor. Without further ado…
First up is The Savoy in London. I went with my family for my nan's birthday and I assumed it wouldn't be my cup of tea, but I couldn't have been more wrong! It was absolutely stunning, such a once in the life time experience. We went for afternoon tea and it was perfect; yummy finger sandwiches, delicious scones and gorgeous cakes, which were very aesthetically pleasing and Instagram worthy may I add!
The other place I loved in November was also in London - Winter Wonderland! It really was a wonderland. I live in a village so our Christmas fair is on a much smaller scale, Winter Wonderland far exceeded my expectations. It wasn't just markets, but there was a huge wheel in the centre, loads of rides, pop up restaurants...A sublime combination of smells and things to see!
Moving onto room decor, I purchased this lovely cushion from the National Gallery. I have a mountain of cushions on my bed, which are from IKEA to Primark to local shops, and this will be a welcome addition! It's so soft and well made, you can just tell it's of good quality. It also has the Tudors on, which is one of my favourite eras.
Finally are two Christmas candles which I bought from IKEA. One is a tea light holder, it was only a few pounds but it felt much more expensive, it was from their VINTER range, as was the candle. As for the candle, I have burnt it every single day without fail, it smells so good, arguably the best smelling candle I have ever had! It just smells of Christmas and whenever I light it, I just can't wait for the big day!
I hope you enjoyed finding out the places and items I have loved during November! What have you been loving this November? Let me know in the comments!
